Basic note
Along with the user's guide, a Help section is also available in the operator panel
of the printing system. The Help is updated for each new version of the operator
panel.
All persons who work on or with the printing system must:
■
have read and understood the user's guide before first powering on the printing
system. If any issues are unclear, please ask your Océ Service contact.
■
keep the operating manual close to hand during work.
■
observe all data and instructions in the user's guide and in this safety information.
Printing system
■
Observe all warning and information labels on and around the printing system.
■
In emergency situations, the printing system should be switched off immediately
at the main switch.
■
Do not attempt to remove safety covers yourself and do not manipulate safety
switches.
■
Keep the operating and maintenance areas around the printing system clear.
■
Make sure that no objects or liquids get into the interior of the printing system.
■
Should the printing system emit any unusual or conspicuous noises or smells,
power it off.
■
Do not obstruct the cooling ducts of the printing system.
■
Make sure there are adequate climate and environmental conditions in the
printing system assembly room.
■
Always close all doors and covers with both hands and do not open them during
operation.
■
Never hold on to the moving paper during printing.
Consumables and expendables
■
Always use an industrial vacuum cleaner with a grounded suction tube, rubber
nozzle and filter set for fine dust. For larger toner quantities, the industrial
vacuum cleaner must be explosion-proof.
■
Keep all consumables for the printing system out of reach of children and
separate from food and drink.
■
Observe the safety directives for all consumables and expendables.
Transport
■
The printing system may only be transported by Service personnel or authorised
transport companies.
