(4) Original orientation selection
(“Orig. set direction”)
Specifies the position of the top edge of the original once the original is set.
• “Back Edge” or “Left top corner”
* If the original set direction is not selected, the scanning may not be performed correctly.

(5) Image file format selection (“File type”)
Sets the desired format of the image file.
Monochrome copiers “Black & White” ..... TIFF, PDF
“Full Color” .............................................. JPEG, PDF-JPEG, TIFF-JPEG
“Gray” ...................................................... JPEG, PDF-JPEG, TIFF-JPEG
* The original is scanned and a file is created and sent for each individual page of the scanned original when
you set JPEG format for “Full Color”.
