7.4.4 SIM card Compatibility
Make sure the SIM you intend to use is compatible
Hardware compatibility: 3V and 1.8V SIM card will work.
Old 5V SIM card will not work
Functional compatibility
The SIM service must be compatible with the services that you intend to use
OMC-045-II can use the following services
GSM data 900 or 1800 networks
GPRS data 1800 networks
7.4.5 (Re)Placement of the SIM
Place the SIM
Warning:
Do NOT place the SIM card while the OMC-045-II is in service.
First disconnect the battery power
The SIM card holder is of the “push-push”-type
Carefully insert the SIM card in the SIM card slot on the left hand side of the module as indicated on top.
Press the SIM card down using your fingernail until you hear and feel a click. The top of the SIM card
should be on the same height as the top surface of the module.
To remove the SIM card:

Do NOT remove the SIM card while the OMC-045-II is in service.
First disconnect the battery power
Press the SIM card further down in the SIM card holder using you finger nail, and it will come out, so you
can easily remove the card
