• Always follow the instructions and remember that some foodstuffs heat very
quickly.
You should also notice that foodstuffs with a high content of sugar
should not be heated in plastic containers.
• Kitchen bowls can become very warm during preparation, especially if they
are covered by a lid or a microwave film.
We therefore recommend that you
use oven gloves when taking the container out of the microwave oven.
Any damage caused by the above or similar faulty use is not covered by the
warranty.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the oven at regular intervals and remove any food scraps. If the oven is not
kept clean, the surfaces may deteriorate and the lifetime of the appliance may
be considerably shortened and there is a risk of a dangerous situation occurring.
Before cleaning the oven, switch it off and unplug. Never use scouring or etching
detergents, as such products may damage the inner and outer surfaces.
The following parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth, possibly with a mild
washing-up liquid:
• External surfaces and the control panel
• Rotary wheel and the bottom of the oven
• The oven door and adjacent parts.
•
The glass dish is dishwasher safe.
If steam occurs on the oven door, wipe the door with a damp cloth.
Remove odours by placing a bowl with lemon water (squeezed lemon + water)
in the microwave oven. Put the microwave function at top efficiency for 5
minutes and wipe with a damp cloth. For cleaning the glass part, use only glass
and window cleaners.
When cleaning, please pay special attention to the following:
• Avoid water from penetrating into the air vents and make sure that the
control panel does not get wet.
• Never use scouring products and sharp metal objects for cleaning the glass
of the oven door, as such products may scratch the glass and make the glass
break.
• Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning of the oven.
• Take care that the rotary wheel is positioned correctly after cleaning.
• It is particularly important that the door and the inner part of the oven are
kept clean.
