Setting the timer
Press the PROG button until TIMER is shown on the display.
Press the HOUR and MIN buttons to enter the desired start time. Each press
of the HOUR button increases the time by one hour (0-23). Each press of the
MIN button increases the time by one minute (00-59). Press the PROG button
again, the display shows the aroma setting (coffee beans), time and a blue
round symbol at the bottom right of the display. This symbol indicates that the
timer has been set.
If no setting is made within 5 seconds, the display returns to displaying the
current time.
Once the programmed time has been reached, a red symbol will be displayed
and the coffee will start brewing automatically. Three beeps will be heard to tell
you that the coffee is ready.
If you want to interrupt the timer setting, press the PROG button or switch and
the blue timer dot will go out.
NOTE!
If the appliance is unplugged after programming, all settings will
be lost.
Anti-drip function
This coffee maker has an automatic anti-drip function that prevents the coffee
from running through the filter holder if the jug is removed from the hotplate.
In other words, you can briefly remove the jug from the coffee maker during
the brewing process. However, it is important to replace the jug on the hotplate
within 1 minute, otherwise the coffee will run over.
Automatic shut-off function
The coffee maker is equipped with an automatic shut-off function that ensures
that the coffee maker’s keep-warm function switches off automatically after 35
minutes.
Cleaning and maintenance
Switch off the coffee maker. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down
before cleaning. Remove any used coffee filter and clean the coffee maker
with a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use scouring powder
or a kitchen sponge! The coffee maker must not be submerged in water or
held under running water. The glass jug, its lid and the filter holder can be
washed in the dishwasher.
NOTE!
If the coffee maker is used in locations where there is a risk of frost
(caravan, summer cottage, etc.), make sure to FULLY empty the coffee maker’s
reservoir of water (turn the appliance upside down). This is to ensure that the
reservoir is not destroyed by residual water freezing. Also empty the coffee
maker if it will not be used for a prolonged period.
