Use
•
Position the appliance on an even and steam-resistant surface in order
to avoid moisture damage.
•
Remove the lid and remove the water tank from the base unit by lifting it
straight upwards. Turn the water tank upside-down and unscrew the lid at
the bottom by turning it in the direction of the arrow towards “LOOSEN”.
•
Fill the water tank with clean tap water (max 40°C) and screw the lid back on
by turning it in the direction of the arrow towards “FASTEN”.
•
Put the water tank back on to the base unit and make sure tat it is properly
secured. If there is not enough water in the tank when the appliance is
plugged to the wall outlet, the appliance will emit a beep sound and switch
off.
•
Put the lid on again with the steam mouthpiece on the water tank.
•
Plug the appliance to a wall outlet and press the on/off button on the control
panel to activate the appliance. The display will show the air humidity level
of the surroundings.
•
Switch off the appliance by pressing the on/off button until the display goes
out.
If the water has a high content of minerals (hard water) in your area, this might
lead to lime deposits on the appliance and on the surfaces around the appliance.
Consequently, this does not mean that the appliance is defective, only that the
tap water contains minerals.
