Then place the mixer in the whisk holder by inserting the whisk shaft into the
holes and then pushing the rear section of the mixer until it clicks into place.
Make sure the mixer is firmly positioned in the whisk holder.
Pour the ingredients into the bowl. To achieve the best results, begin with the
liquid ingredients and then the dry ingredients. Place the bowl in the holder and
press the button as the whisk holder is lowered into the horizontal position.
Set the speed selector to 0 and plug in the mixer; it is now ready for use.
Always start on speed 1. The bowl will rotate during use to ensure all the
ingredients in the bowl are mixed evenly.
Use with dough hooks
Fit the dough hooks to the underside of the mixer. Insert the dough hook with
the plastic marking into the small hole. Insert the whisk with a metal ring into
the large hole. Press the button (9) with the symbol and angle the whisk holder
upwards. Then place the mixer in the whisk holder by inserting the shaft into
the holes and then pushing the rear section of the mixer until it clicks into
place. Make sure the mixer is firmly positioned in the whisk holder.
It is important that they are placed in the correct holes so that the dough does
not work its way up the shaft during use.
Do not use the mixer for more than 10 minutes at a time and then allow it to
rest for around 30 minutes before using it again.
If the mixer is used without the accompanying console, hold the mixer handle
when lowering the whisks/dough hooks into the ingredients to be mixed/
whisked. You can now use your thumb to change the speed by pushing the
button left or right, even during whisking. Move the whisks/dough hooks
around the bowl to ensure all the ingredients are whisked/mixed evenly.
To avoid splashes, always keep the whisks down within the contents of the
bowl. Switch off the mixer before removing the whisks from the contents.
NOTE!
The whisks and dough hooks must be able to run unhindered in the
ingredients being whisked/mixed, otherwise the motor will overheat.
What speed?
Speed 1-4: Mixing dry ingredients with liquids. Whisking sauces and creams
and mashing vegetables. Cake batters or heavier doughs can be mixed using
the dough hooks. Whisking butter and sugar.
Speed 3-5: Whipping cream, beating whole eggs and egg whites and for
mixing minced meat and light doughs.
Turbo: For extra quick whisking in short bursts. The turbo function temporarily
increases the speed of the selected setting.
