After resetting the scale is ready for weighing the next ingredient. Remember to reset after
weighing each ingredient. If the most recently weighed ingredient is removed again after
resetting, its weight will be displayed with a negative sign. Press reset and the scale is ready
for use again. If the scale has not been reset after weighing the last ingredient, and this
ingredient is removed, the scale will read “0” again.
If the scale is overloaded (a load of more than 5 kg), the display will read “EEEE”. Remove
surplus ingredients from the scale and it is ready for weighing again.
Switch off
In order to save battery life the scale automatically switches off after approximately 60
seconds of non-use. The scale can also be switched off manually by pressing and holding
the TARE/ON/OFF button for a few seconds.
Cleaning and maintenance
The surface can be wiped clean using a soft cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent.
Wipe dry using a dry cloth or paper towel. Never use strong, abrasive cleaners as these may
scratch the surface. The scale may not be immersed in water or other liquids. Do not place
the scale near strong heat sources such as cookers or radiators.
