2. Red indicator light = on
3. Green indicator light = ready to use
4. Non-stick grill plates

Before use
• Remove the grill from the packaging.
• Clean the grill plates as described under “Cleaning and maintenance”.
• Grease the grill plates with a little cooking oil before use.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
• Place the appliance on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Use
1. Plug the appliance into a wall socket. The red indicator light comes on.
2. Turn the temperature control to the required setting 1-5. Some ingredients
require a lower temperature and longer cooking time while others are
best cooked at a high temperature for a shorter time. The results will also
vary depending on your individual taste. Experiment to see which setting
best suits what you are cooking and keep an eye on the results during the
cooking process. See also the grilling table below.
3. Once the appliance has finished heating up, the green indicator light will
come on and the red indicator light will go out. The grill is now ready to use.
NB!
You may get a smell of smoke when the appliance heats up for the
first time. This is perfectly normal.
NOTE!
The indicator lights will go on and off during use. This indicates that the
heating element is maintaining the optimum grill temperature.
