Set desired length with the adjustment knob placed above the switch (marked 1-5). If you
•
for example use comb 4-16 mm the length of your hair will be 4 mm if your torn the knob to
1, 7 mm if you turn the knob to 2, 10 mm if you turn the knob to 3 etc, see markings on each
side of the comb. Choosen length is indicated with an arrow on the side of the appliance.
If you like to use the thinning tool you turn the upper knob to the symbol . If you don´t use
•
the thinning tool you set this knob to 0.
Start the appliance by pressing the switch to I.
•
Hold the appliance with the trimming head upwards so that the flat side of the trimmer faces
•
towards the head. Start at the neck and move the hair clipper in short light movements up
and outwards. Work your way ut to the top of the head and continue with the next section.
Take your time and stop and check the result from time to time. Comb the hair regularly to
remove loose hair.
If the hair clipper starts to work slow you may check if there are hair jammed in the trimmer
•
head/comb. Shut off the appliance and remove all hair before you start again. Also check
the battery level regularly.
For trimming around the ears and lower neck you might need to change to a shorter comb
•
or remove the comb and use the trimming head only.
Use without comb attachment
If you want cropped result (1-2 mm), you can use the appliance without comb attachment and
only use the trimming head.
Remove the comb attachment by pulling it upwards. Start the appliance with the switch. Hold
the appliance with the trimming head upwards so that the flat side of the trimmer faces towards
the head. Start at the neck and move the hair clipper in short light movements upwards. Work
your way up to the top of the head and continue with the next section. Be extra careful around
the ears. Shut off with the switch.
Cutting with the help of the comb
Use your fingers and/or comb to cut hair sections longer than 30 cm.
Remove the comb attachment from the appliance by pulling it upwards.

Lift a hair section with the comb or hold it between your fingers so that the excess hair
•
sticks up over your fingers.
Cut off the hair with the hair clipper and continue until desired length is reached.
•
Comb regularly to remove loose hair and to check the result.
•
Cleaning and maintenance
Always shut off the appliance and disconnect it from the adapter before cleaning.
•
Never immerse the appliance or its cord in water or other liquids.
•
Remove the comb attachment form the appliance by pulling it upwards. The comb
•
attachments can be rinsed in water.
Remove hair from the trimming head with the enclosed brush.
•
The trimming head can be removed for cleaning. Pull the trimming head backwards to
•
remove it from the appliance. Use the brush to remove hair from the trimming head and the
inside of the appliance. Press the trimming head back until it clicks into place.
Never try to sharpen the cutting blades by your self.
•
Oil the cutting blades
The cutting blades should be oiled regularly to maintain the performance.
