Typographical Conventions
The following typographical conventions are used in the user’s guide:
■
Menu items are displayed in the format: “Array Configuration menu,
choose
View Unused Drives.”
■
Code font
will indicate literal text used in examples.
■
Italic code font
indicates a replaceable or variable item in code.
■
Italic
text indicates the item that is selected or chosen.
■
Key strokes are enclosed in brackets, e.g., <Esc>, <K>, or <Enter>.

Front panel LEDs provide notifications of system component status, and

SCSI-SATA RAID Controller employs an Intel XScale 600MHz RISC
processor.

512 MB or 1GB cache memory using 266MHz DDR SDRAM.
■
Dual 8-port Serial ATA 1.5 Gb disk controllers.
