HOW TO MAKE A HAT

1. Load the machine to make a flat panel (See Diagram A).
  Make sure the switch is in the up position.
2. Knit 40 lines.
3. Finish off following the instructions on how to finish off the 
  ending of a flat panel and cinch the end.
4. Repeat this process three times.
5. Once you have completed all three panels, prepare to sew 
  them together (See Diagram B, C, D and E).

HOW TO MAKE LEG WARMERS

1. Follow the instructions on how 
  to make a tube.
2. Knit 160 lines.
3. Once you finish 160 lines, stop 
  and follow the instructions on 
  how to finish a tube.
4. Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 to make 
  the second leg warmer.
5. To make striped leg warmers, 
  count 20 lines and change colors
  until you are finished.
