Interfaces (additional control PCB)
On the additional control PCB, there are, in addition to the two interfaces

to the vending machine
components that are relevant for the control system (see Fig. 1c).
For details regarding pin assignment, see section "Pin assignment
and connection diagrams" in Chap. 10 "Technical data".
Button and switches (additional control PCB)
Button
3
is used to perform an automatic run of the vending machine
functions such as escrow, selection buttons, pilot lights, product ejectors
and motorized return mechanism before starting up the device (see Chap. 6
"Starting up") and to reset the error messages stored in the coin validator
that inhibit the further acceptance of coins or disable the selection buttons
(see Chap. 11 "Troubleshooting").
The lower of the two DIL switches

is used for the manual testing of all
contacts of the vending functions such as escrow, selection buttons,
product ejectors and motorized return mechanism (see Chap. 11
"Troubleshooting").
The upper DIL switch can be used to set up to five prices for up to five
different products (see section "Set the prices" in Chap. 6 "Starting up").
The button and switches can be disabled for normal operation (see
section "Disabling price and test switches/button in Chap. 7
"Operation").
