INTRODUCTION

The

TagTemp-NFC-LCD

  is an electronic temperature logger

portable temperature logger with local indication via an LCD display.

The temperature data stored in the internal memory are downloaded

with a smartphone  embedded  with an  NFC  or an NFC interface

connected to a computer through an USB port (both not included).

TagTemp-NFC-LCD

 features a replaceable 3.0 V (CR2450) lithium

battery. Its autonomy is relative and depends on some factors, such

as: operating temperature, minimum interval between logs, and

others, but is greater than 1 year.

Android

LogChart NFC

 and

Windows

NXperience

 applications are

the  software  tools used for the  operation  mode settings  and the

collection and visualization of data. With these applications, you can

easily set the parameters such as starting or ending of acquisitions,

interval between acquisitions, alarm set points and other parameters.
You can download the operating manual and

NXperience

 from the

manufacturer's website. You can download the

ANDROID™

LogChart-NFC

 application from the

Google Play Store

MECHANICAL INSTALATION

TagTemp-NFC-LCD

can be fastened in three ways: using screws,

double-sided tape or with the frame.
For screw fastening, use two M3x14 mm screws. See

Fig. 01

To fasten with double-sided tape, apply the tape to the back of the

device, taking care not to cover the ID label.
The Frame

TagTemp-NFC

, sold separately, is also available to

embed the datalogger into a panel or a thermal box. See

Fig. 02

In both cases, the temperature sensor should be placed near the

place where you want to measure the temperature.

APPLICATIONS

TagTemp-NFC-LCD

can be used in processes or systems where

temperature monitoring and logging are required. It can be used

standalone or coupled to the

NOVUS

  Smart Thermal Box (the

optimum solution for transport purposes). Generally, the products

and their respective temperature ranges for transport and storage are

as follows: frozen (-20 °C to -10 °C), refrigerated (2 °C to 8 °C),

cooled (8 °C to 15 °C °C) and dried (15 °C to 25 °C) products.

Moreover, it can also be used to monitor blood bags, blood

components, vaccines,  food and other temperature-sensitive

products.
Compact equipment, can be kept next to the product to be

monitored. Due to its low-cost, can be used as a reusable logger in

logistical operations, where its return is viable.
