SETTINGS
DEFECT
- opens a submenu that allows correction of inactive (damaged) pixels:
LIVE DPC
- setting parameters of the correction function of defective pixels in real time. After selecting
ON and giving the ENTER command, a submenu opens to enable setting the gain level and correction
level.
WHITE DPC
- allows correction (masking) of the "Hot pixels" (glowing in white). After selecting
ON
and giving the ENTER command, a sub-menu opens:
It defines the size and location of the zone in which the correction will be performed (
POS
/
SIZE
position), then the level of correction and amplification (
LEVEL
and
AGC
positions) and setting the
SENS
-UP
option (if the camera uses it). Next, in the
START
position, the
ENTER
command should be given,
the lens should be covered tightly and the
ENTER
command should be given again. After correction,
the camera returns to the
WHITE DPC
menu. In
DPC VIEW
, check the correction effect and repeat the
operation with other settings if unsatisfactory.
BLACK DPC
- allows correction (masking) of the "Dead pixels". After selecting
ON
and giving the
ENTER
command, a submenu in which the size is specified opens and the location of the zone in
which the correction will be made (
POS
/
SIZE
position), then the correction level (
LEVEL
position)
should be determined. Then, in the
START
position, give the
ENTER
command and wait for the
operation to finish. In the
DPC VIEW
position, the correction effect can be checked and in the case of
unsatisfactory results, repeat the operation with different settings.
