3.4. RECORD

RECORD

menu consists of three sub-menus regarding recording and HDD settings.

3.4.1. Storage

Selecting this submenu and pressing

ENTER

displays the following screen:

Capacity

displays the information on the capacity of mounted HDDs (when an optical drive is

installed the

N/A

information is displayed).

Type

column displays the disk type connected to the DVR which may be either

HDD

ODD

optical disk drive.

Usage

column displays information on current purpose of the disk.

Record

- HDD for recording,

Mirror (x)

- HDD being a mirror of the one numbered as in the round brackets, (-) - HDD not ready for

the operation, requiring format,

Read Only

- HDD contains recordings that may be either copied or

played. Storing new records on such disk is impossible until its formatting (which causes data loss!)
