3.1.3. User
Selecting this sub-menu and pressing
ENTER
displays the following screen:
This submenu allows for adding, editing, and assigning passwords/privileges for users and groups.
Privileges are assigned to groups, with particular users being added to them.
Administrator
and
User
groups together with
Administrator
and
User
users are the factory defaults,
therefore they cannot be deleted. By default, all
Administrator
group users have full admin privileges
while all
User
accounts are authorized for PTZ camera control, storing and playback of the records.
Highlighting and selecting any position in the
User
column displays a window allowing for changing
the group assignment (
Group
) and password (after selecting
Change
). Password is entered
analogically as when adding a new user.
Highlighting and selecting the
Group
column allows for changing privileges for the whole group, with
additional description of possible privileges presented further.
Auto.login:
Enables or disables automatic user logging during DVR startup.
Auto Logout(min)
allows for enabling/disabling the auto logging out after a pre-defined period of
user’s menu inactivity. After selecting
On
additional field, allowing for setting the inactivity threshold
ranging from 1 to 60 min.
