Managing Connected Devices
The
Connected Devices
page lets you view, edit, and block devices that are currently connected to
your MiFi and also unblock devices.
For the
Primary Network
and
Guest Network
, you can see the IP Address, MAC Address, and Link
Local of all devices connected to the Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi network name is displayed after the
heading.
You can also see information on
Blocked Devices
, including the name and MAC address of any
blocked devices.
MiFi Connected Devices
The Primary Network and Guest Network sections list all devices connected to your MiFi via Wi-Fi
including:

Change Max Wi-Fi Connections
— Allows you to set how many devices can simultaneously
connect to the MiFi’s Wi-Fi network.

Type
— The first column indicates the type of connected device. You can use the
Edit
option
to set or change the type. If the type has not been set, no icon is displayed. Once you set the
device type, an appropriate icon is displayed.
•
Name
— This will show either the default hostname of the connected device or the name
you choose using the
Edit
option.
•
Edit
option — Allows you to change the name of any connected device.
•
Connection Type
— Displays an icon to indicate the connection type for each connected
device.
•
IP Address
— The IP address of the connected device.
•
Link-Local
— If the connected device supports IPv4 (for devices connected to the Primary
Network) or IP6 (for devices connected to the Guest Network, the Link-Local IP4 or IPv6
address is displayed.
•
MAC Address
— The MAC Address is a unique network identifier for this connected device.
•
Block
— Allows you to prevent a specific device from connecting to the MiFi.
