Code Problems Possible causes Solutions
E1
STOP button
activated. “E1” is displayed while the
STOP button is activated.
Place the robot mower
less than a metre away
from the perimeter
cable and restart it.
E2
Lift sensor
activated.
Carefully lift the robot
mower until the back
wheel lifts off the ground.
The blades stop for after
2 seconds and the front
wheels after 5 seconds.
E3
Robot mower
outside of
perimeter cable.
The blades stop after
2 seconds of the robot
mower going over the
perimeter cable. “E3” is
displayed if the robot
mower cannot reverse.
E4
Perimeter
cable damaged,
broken or
disconnected.
The robot mower stops
immediately when
the perimeter cable is
damaged, broken or
disconnected.
Check the perimeter
cable's condition. The
LED at the back of the
base must be steady
green. Place the robot
mower less than a
metre away from the
cable and restart it.

Bump sensor
activated.
1. The robot mower
collides with more
than 10 obstacles
with less than 10
seconds between each
collision.
2. The bump sensor is
activated for more
than 10 seconds.
Remove the obstacles
and place the robot
mower less than a
metre away from the
perimeter cable, then
restart it.
