HOW TO OPERATE

Your BAKERY BITES EXPRESS can make brownies, cookies, mini cupcakes or

mini bundt cakes. The brownie and cookie pan is fixed inside of the unit. To

make mini cupcakes or mini bundt cakes, simply set the appropriate Cooking

Tray on top of the brownie and cookie pan inside of the Main Unit.

1.

Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and dry.

2.

Find a dry, suitable, level surface near an electrical outlet.

3.

Before cooking, the nonstick surface of the inside of the Main Unit and/or

the Cooking Tray that you use should be lightly coated with a small amount

of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a

nonstick oil spray. The oil will help protect the nonstick quality of the cooking

surface. This should be done periodically to maintain the nonstick quality.

4.

To help prevent sticking, you may also sprinkle flour over oiled Cooking Trays.

5.

Preheat the appliance by closing the Lid and plugging into an electrical outlet.

6.

When the power is on, the Red Power Light will come on. The Green

Ready Light will stay on while the appliance is preheating.

7.

The appliance should preheat for a minimum of 3 minutes. The Green

Ready Light will turn off when the appliance is ready to cook.

8.

While the appliance is preheating, you may prepare the ingredients for your pastries.

9.

Raise the Lid using an oven mitt or pot holder to prevent accidental burns.

10.  Fill pastry wells in Cooking Tray with batter. When making cookies, drop dough

directly onto Cooking Tray inside of Main Unit as you would with a cookie sheet.

11.  Close the Lid using a pot holder or oven mitt.

Steam may be released from appliance during cooking. For your safety, avoid contact

with steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.

12.  The cooking time will range between 3-7 minutes, depending on

the type of pastries being cooked and personal taste.

13.  Once the pastries have completed cooking, raise the Lid with a pot holder or

oven mitt. Allow pastries to cool for a few minutes before removing.

14.  Use pot holder or oven mitts to remove Bundt Cake Cooking Tray or Mini Cupcake

Cooking Tray. Turn tray upside down on plate or cookie sheet to release pastries.

15.  If you have made cookies, use a rubber spatula to remove cookies.

16.  For brownies, cut brownies using Brownie Cutter and remove using a

rubber spatula. Before cutting, test doneness by inserting a toothpick.

When the toothpick comes out clean, brownies are done.

17.  If cooking more than one batch of pastries in a session, after removal of the first

batch, lower the Lid to maintain heat until ready to cook the next batch.

18.  As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug appliance and allow to cool.

19.  Once the appliance is cool, following directions in Cleaning and

Maintenance section to clean your BAKERY BITES EXPRESS
