Inspect and maintain your pressure washer as specified below in order to keep it in safe 
and optimal working order.  Follow all safety rules and recommended maintenance 
instructions. 

 

 

WARNING 

ALWAYS shut off water supply, bleed water pressure, turn off engine and disconnect the 
spark plug wires before cleaning, adjusting, or servicing the pressure washer.  After 
servicing, make sure all guards and cover shields are replaced before using.

Maintenance & Repair-Detailed Instructions  

Follow safety rules 

Read and follow these safety rules whenever you will be servicing the 
pressure washer: 

 

Turn off / relieve pressure first.

  Always turn off pressure washer and 

relieve system pressure before inspection or maintenance.  Remove spark 
plug or spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting. 

 

Fuel valve off.

  Turn fuel shut-off valve to OFF position before transporting 

or servicing the pressure washer. 

 

Replace guards.

  Make sure all guards and cover shields are replaced after 

servicing the pressure washer. 

 

Major repair.

  Major service, including the installation or replacement of 

parts, should be performed only by a qualified service technician.  Obtain 
factory approved parts from NorthStar Product Support at 1-800-270-0810. 

 

 

Replacement parts

.  If a part needs replacement, only use factory approved 

repair parts.  Replacement parts that do not meet specifications may result in 
a safety hazard or poor operation of the pressure washer and will void the 
warranty.
