If previously removed, reinstall EMI shield and secure to cabinet with 
mounting screws.

Reconnect all cables previously disconnected from connectors on 
shelf backplanes.

Reinsert all circuit packs previously unseated.

14

Reinsert PE1 fuse (if removed) on QUX19 unit or set PE breaker on 
QUX 20 unit for replaced backplane to ON.

With overlay program 32 (see 553-2301-511) enable the previously 
disabled shelves by entering command ENLS 1 s, where 1 is the loop 
and s is the shelf number.

Enter **** to abort overlay program 32.

17

To test replacement PE shelf, load overlay program 30 (NWS).

18

Enter command LOOP 1, where 1 is the loop number on which the 
shelf was replaced.

19

If the system response is other than OK, refer to the trouble indicators 
documented in this practice.
