Reset Switch
A reset switch is located on the base module and can be accessed from the back
of the unit, as shown. Use a small, pointed object to press the switch through the
hole in the back panel. The green reset indicator is also located on the base module
next to the reset switch.

Three types of resets can be done by holding the switch down for different time
intervals. You can tell when to release the switch by watching the flashing green
indicator. The relationships are given in the table shown in Table 2-3.

1-5 seconds On Resets the CPU. Without diagnostics.
6-10 seconds Slow flashing Resets by reading existing configuration from
flash. With diagnostics.
10+ seconds Fast flashing Resets by restoring all configuration parame-
ters to their factory default values. WIth diag-
nostics.
