Attention
Attention : To set the Maximum Age and Forward Delay Parameters, satisfy the
following relation:
2 * (Forward Delay - 1.0) >= Max Age
To set the Hello Time and Maximum Age parameters, satisfy the following
relation:
Max Age >= 2 * (Hello Time + 1.0)
Variable Value
Maximum Age (secs) Type the time period for which the information received in RSTP BPDU is
valid.
The value ranges from 6 to 40 seconds.
The default value is 20 seconds.
Hello Time (secs) Type the time interval between two successive configuration BPDUs.
The default value is 2 seconds.
Forward Delay (secs) Type the time taken for ports to transit from one state to another.
The default value is 15 seconds.
