7.

Strip the ends of the existing RTD

wires and then connect the wires to the
bottom terminals on the terminal block.
Tighten the terminal screws.

9.

Trim the new RTD wires approximately

254 mm (10 in.) from the RTD, strip the ends
of the wires, and then connect both wires to
the top terminals on the terminal block.
Tighten the terminal screws.

5.

Cut the RTD wires just behind the manifold

RTD and then remove the RTD.

10.

Replace the top and bottom manifold O-rings

with the O-rings provided.

11.

Reinstall the pump by reversing the sequence

illustrated in step 4.

CAUTION:  When reinstalling the pump, ensure that the
RTD is fully seated in its slot and that the RTD wires are not
caught between the pump and the manifold.

12.

Switch the melter on and confirm that the

fault is gone. If the fault reoccurs, refer to the
Troubleshooting section of the melter manual.

6.

Attach the terminal block to the

bracket using the 3-mm hex-head screw
and matching lock washer.

8.

Coat the new RTD with thermal

compound and then insert the RTD into
the slot.
