CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Aquatic growth can accumulate rapidly on the transducer’s surface.  This will
greatly reduce its performance. If you notice a degradation in performance of
your depth sounder, you may need to clean the transducer.

Clean minor marine growth from the surface with a soft cloth and mild
household detergent.

Clean severe marine growth with a stiff brush or putty knife.  Be careful to
avoid making scratches on the surface. Wet sanding can be done with fine
grade wet/dry paper.
