Selecting the Subtitle Language
This function can only be used for DVDs re-
corded with multiple subtitle languages.
– Press SUBTITLE repeatedly to select a
desired subtitle languages.
Notes:
• The maximum number of subtitle languages
stipulated by the manufacturer is 32.
Audio Language and Channel Selection
1. This function of audio language selection
can only be used for DVD discs on which
audio has been recorded in multiple lan-
guages.
– While playing a DVD disc, press the LAN-
GUAGE button repeatedly to select a de-
sired language for audio, and playback will
then continue in new language.
2. This function of audio channel selection
can only be used for VCD discs, press the
LANGUAGE button repeatedly on the re-
mote control to select the desired audio
channel as follows:
– LEFT VOCAL RIGHT VOCAL MONO
LEFT MONO RIGHT STEREO
Notes:
• The maximum number of audio languages
stipulated by the manufacturer is 8/8.
• In Tuner and Aux mode, this function is
useless.
Display status during playback
You have the option to view current informa-
tion, such as titles and chapters on DVD discs
or tracks on CD discs. The information
will be displayed on the television screen and
on the front panel display. The disc will dis-
play information similar to the following illus-
trations:
1. Press
DISPLAY repeatedly to display the
following status.
DVD CD
MP3
2. Press DISPLAY again, to turn the display
function off immediately.
Notes:
• Depending on some disc, the title number
or chapter number or time may not appear
or you may not be able to change the dis-
play.
