1.1 Drilling of the COVERS
A
B
B
According to the installation, drill the covers before, (already prepared):
•
The pre-caving hole
A
is for the cables.
•
The hole
B
has to be drilled from inside just to insert the cables in the barrier or for drainage
in case of condensation.
For a correct use, don’t install the infrared barriers near trees, plants or places where they can have a deep sun-light (for
example car–lights, rays of sun, if it is not possible, install the transmitter but not the receiver in front of the sun-light). It is
possible to install the receiver and the transmitter in all angles as long as the sensors are parallel positioned. Make sure
that the transmitters and receivers should be installed in the same direction (the cables have to come out from the same
side both the receiver and the transmitter)
The terminal boards for the connections are in the end of the module:
•
Pole 1
is the positive and
Pole 2
is the negative,
the barrier can be powered with 12/24V ac/dc.
•
Poles 3 and 4
are for the antitheft contact of tamper contact.
This contact is closed when the polycarbonated part is installed and it is open
when the part has been moved.
•
Pole 5
is for the EB BUS Data System.
