Search for a user

In the
Instant messaging
menu, select
IM contacts > Options >
Search > Users
.

Select one of the following:
User’s name
— Enter the first few characters of the contact first and last
name, and select
OK
.
User ID
— Enter the first few characters of the contact user ID, and select
OK
.
Phone number
— Enter the first few numbers of contact phone number,
then select
OK
.
— Enter the first few characters of the contact e-mail address,
then select
OK
.
Search for a group

In the
Instant messaging
menu, select
IM contacts > Options >
Search > Groups
.

Select one of the following:
Group name
— Enter the first few characters of a group name, and select
OK
.
Topic
— Enter the first few characters of the group topic, and select
OK
.
Members
— Enter the first few characters of the user ID of a group
member, and select
OK
.
