The Nokia IP1200 Series Security Platform is designed for front-screw mounting in a 19-inch 
rack. Each IP1200 Series requires the following space in a rack:

3.5 inches (8.89 centimeters) of vertical space

18 inches (46 centimeters) behind the front-panel of the rack 

„

6 inches (15 centimeters) behind the IP1200 Series to allow the back exit fan to move air 
through the appliances

Caution

Do not block the ventilation holes on the IP1200 Series. The appliance might overheat 
and get damaged.
