Installing or Replacing a Power Supply

IP1220 and IP1260 Security Platforms Installation Guide

Caution

The Nokia IP1200 Series appliance power supply might be hot to the touch when the 
power supply unit is plugged in to an AC power source and the power supply is not 
turned on.

Before You Begin

To replace a power supply, you need:

„

Physical access to the IP1200 Series appliance.

„

Phillips-head screwdriver.

„

Replacement power supply and appropriate documentation.

To replace a power supply
1.

Locate the power supply and the two screws that secure it on the back of the IP1200 Series 
appliance.

2.

Turn off the power to the power supply to be removed.

3.

Loosen the two retaining screws.

4.

Remove the grounding lugs.
