Installing or Replacing a Power Supply

Before You Begin
To replace a power supply, you need:
„
Physical access to the IP1200 Series.
„
Phillips-head screwdriver.
„
Replacement power supply and appropriate documentation.
To replace a power supply
1.
Locate the power supply and the two screws that secure it on the back of
the IP1200 Series.
2.
Turn off the power to the power supply to be removed.
3.
Loosen the two retaining screws.
4.
Remove the grounding lugs.
5.
Use the handles to gently pull the power supply out of the chassis.
6.
Insert the new power supply into the empty bay.
7. Replace the grounding lugs.
8.
Reinstall the two retaining screws.
