Reply via same center — to allow the recipient of your message to send you a
reply using your message center (network service).
Rename sending profile — to change the name of the selected message profile.
The message profile sets are only displayed if your SIM card supports more
than one set. You cannot rename the default profile.
3. Select Save sent messages > Yes to set the phone to save the sent text
messages in the Sent items folder.
4. Select Automatic resending > On to set the phone to automatically resend
the message if the initial send attempt does not succeed.
Multimedia message settings
The message settings affect the sending, receiving, and viewing of
multimedia messages.
You may receive the configuration settings for multimedia messaging as a
configuration message. See "Configuration settings," page 10. You can also enter
the settings manually. See "Configuration settings," page 56.
To select the multimedia message settings, select Menu > Messages > Message
settings > Multimedia msgs. . Select from the following settings:
Save sent messages > Yes — to set the phone to save sent multimedia messages in
the Sent items folder. If you select No , the sent messages are not saved.
Delivery reports — to ask the network to send delivery reports about your messages
(network service).
Default slide timing — to define the default time between slides in
multimedia messages.
Allow multimedia reception — to receive or to block the multimedia message,
select Yes or No . If you select In home network , you cannot receive multimedia
messages when outside your home network.
Incoming multimedia messages — to allow the reception of multimedia messages
automatically or only after being prompted, or to decline the reception, select
Retrieve , Retrieve manually , or Reject .
Configuration — Only the configurations that support multimedia messaging
are shown.
Allow advertisements — to receive or decline advertisements. This setting is not
shown if Allow multimedia reception is set to No .
E-mail settings
The settings affect the sending, receiving, and viewing of e-mail.
You may receive the configuration settings for the e-mail application as a
configuration message. See "Configuration settings," page 10. You can also enter
the settings manually. See "Configuration settings," page 56.
