HOW TO CLEAN THE AIR FILTER
Your air filter has a two year lifespan. We recommend that every now and again
you remove the filter from your sprayer and give it a good clean. It’s a fairly
straightforward procedure.
1.
Unplug your paint
sprayer and remove the
screw to detach the air
filter cover using a
screwdriver.
2.
Either clean the old
filter by simply blowing
into it to remove any
dust (we suggest using a
vacuum cleaner), or
insert a replacement
filter.
3.
Put the filter back in,
screw the filter cover
back on, and you’re good
to go.
Always use the paint sprayer with an air filter, as dirt can be sucked up and mixed
with your coating material, not great for your finish. Always check the air filter
before you start spraying.
HOW TO CLEAN THE AIR VENTILATION
HOSE
Paint shouldn’t typically get in the ventilation hose, but if it does, simply unscrew
the container, and apply some pressure to pull the suction tube and its seal away
from the spray attachment itself. Clean all the parts carefully.
Pro tip:
The
ventilation hose and suction tube parts are only partially solvent-resistant, so it’s
best to wipe them down rather than immerse them.
