If you want to use a child safety seat in the front passenger seat, always ensure
that the front passenger airbag is disabled. Go to Settings from the leftmost side
of the control bar at the bottom of the center display, and tap Driving > Front
Passenger Airbag to disable the front passenger airbag. In this case, the
icon
appears at the top of the center display, notifying you that the front passenger
airbag is disabled.
Secure your child with a child safety seat or seat belt that is appropriate for the
age, weight and height of the child on the rear outboard seats:
• Infants weighing up to 13 kg can be seated in a reclining rear-facing child
safety seat secured on the rear seats.
• Toddlers weighing between 9 kg and 18 kg can be seated in a forward-facing
or rear-facing child safety seat that is restrained by a safety cushion or
integrated five-point harness and secured on the rear seats.
