Recording Movies in Slow Motion and Fast Motion (HS
Movie)
Movies recorded using HS movie can be played back in slow motion at 1/8, 1/4
or 1/2 of the normal playback speed, or in fast motion at twice the normal
playback speed.

Use the multi selector
HI
to
select an HS movie option (
E
55)
and press the
k
button.
•
After applying the option, press the
d
button to return to the shooting screen.

Press the
b

movie-record)
button to start recording.
•
Movie recording starts at high speed when
the
Open with HS footage option in the
movie menu is set to On , or at normal
speed when it is set to Off .
•
The camera switches between normal
speed movie recording and HS movie
recording each time the
k
button is
pressed.
•
The movie options icon changes when switching between HS movie
recording and normal speed movie recording.
•
When the maximum recording time for HS movies (
E
55) is reached, the
camera automatically switches to normal speed movie recording.
