2. Assembly of the
lower cover
Attach the lower cover using four screws
(fig. 2).
Do not over-tighten the screws when you
attach the lower cover on an uneven surface.
This may cause the lower cover to distort,
so that the upper cover will not lock into
the lower cover properly, compromising the
correct attachment of the lower cover onto
the upper cover.
To insert the connection cable through the
lower cover smoothly, it is recommended
to mount a flush-mounting box underneath
the device.
Position the flush-mounting box underneath
the cable entry at a height of 150 cm.
3. Six wire cabling
Connect the wires according to the labelling
a b E P M V1 V2 (from the bottom to the top)
on the inside of the lower cover (fig. 3).
Limit the length of the wires that sit on top
of the lower cover to prevent them from
getting pinched when the upper cover clicks
into place.
4. Optional:
Connecting a
bell push button
(05-540)
Connect the bell push button to terminals a
and E (fig. 3).
Remove the light bulb from the bell push
button to prevent it from permanently using
power, thus preventing calls from being
made.
5. Terminal resistor
Switch the terminal resistor to OFF if the
device is not the last internal video unit on
the cable.
Switch the terminal resistor to ON if the
device is the last internal video unit on the
cable.
6. Assembly of the
upper frame (fig. 5)
a. Position the upper cover onto the two
fixing points of the lower cover.
b. Gently press the upper cover onto the
base frame until it clicks into place.
7. Connection of the
receiver (fig. 6)
Plug the connector into the port at the
bottom of the internal video unit.
8. Disassembly
(fig. 7)
a. Remove the connector from the device.
b. Insert a small screwdriver into the
rectangular unlocking eyelet at the bottom
of the device, applying gentle pressure.
c. Unlock the upper cover at the bottom (1).
Lift the upper cover from both fixing points
on the lower cover (2).
