4. When you are not pressing any keys for 8 seconds, the device will return to stand-by mode
(video off) and the settings will be saved automatically.
(*) Only possible if the light switch key is connected to the power supply.
4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Cabling
The internal video unit 10-575 is wired with
6-wire twisted cable
, for optimal image quality. The diameter of the conductors
determines the maximum distance that can be bridged between the power supply and the internal video unit, or between
the power supply and the external video unit.
Diameter
0.5 mm
(e.g. UTP Cat 5e)
0.6 mm
(e.g. TPVF)
0.8 mm (preferably)
(e.g. TVVF, JYSTY …)
Max. distance
45 m
65 m
115 m
Remark
• The above maximum distances apply if only one device is active. If 2 internal video units operate in parallel using the
same cable, divide the maximum distance by 2. For 3 internal video units, divide by 3, etc.
• Maximum 20 internal video units (line in and line out) can be wired up. If you want to connect more than 20 internal
video units, or you prefer using star cabling, you will have to use video splitters. Every video splitter output can be used
to connect an additional 20 internal video units.

Tip
1. Connection
Connect the internal video unit according to
the wiring diagram (fig. 1).
Disconnect all power before installing the
internal video unit
. Do not connect the
device to the mains voltage until installation
has been completed.
