3. PROGRAMMING AND MODIFYING SETTINGS
The device can be assigned directly to a bell push button and be programmed in parallel to 2 internal units.
A different ring tone is provided for the following types of call:
• originating from the main external unit (with address 0)
• originating from another external unit (with another address)
• bell push button at the apartment door (floor bell push button)
• internal call
The ring tone can be changed.
Programming and the modification of the settings can occur either
manually
or with the
service unit 10-870
.

Connect the service unit to the installation via the a, b and P wires or to the external unit via the connector provided. The serial numbers of the internal and
external units are located on the devices, and can be affixed to your installation diagram for easy programming.
Example of a serial number:
Using the serial number, you can program the bell to the bell push button just as you would with a (2nd) internal unit.
