Read the complete manual before attempting installation and activating the system.
1. DESCRIpTION
The video kit 10-020-01 is a kit with black-and-white camera, the kit 10-030-01 is provided with a color camera. Both kits contain the following products:
a surface mounting video external unit with one bell push button, a power supply and a surface mounting internal unit. The kits are preprogrammed, you
only have to make the connections! The microphone and loudspeaker of the external unit are adjustable in both kits. Both external units are provided with
a text field for personalization. On the internal units, both the volume of the ring tone and the display contrast are adjustable. The external unit is provided
with IR LEDs for a better visibility at night. The kit can be extended with audio internal and one external units and one programmable relays.

Which cables are required?
Niko recommends the following:
- JYSTY(-F2) min. 3 x 2 x 0,8mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit max. 200m)
- TVVF(-F2) min. 3 x 2 x 0,8mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit max. 200m)
- TPVF min. 3 x 2 x 0,6mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit max. 100m)
- UTP / FTP / STP 4 x 2 x 0,5mm (distance from power supply to internal or external unit max. 70m)
Note:
Not all the provided cable pairs are used. If one pair is damaged, sufficient spare pairs are available.
Tip:
Use the same color code for identical terminals (a, b, P…) for all the products of the range Access Control Standard in one system!
Installing the external unit
The recommended installation height for a camera is 160 to 170cm.
Remove the nameplate from the front of the external unit in order to connect it. Proceed as follows (fig.1):

Half unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the external unit using the provided Allen key.

Remove the bolt piece by sliding it from under the appliance.
3.
Slide down the nameplate so the connection terminals become visible.
Insert the cable through the opening provided at the bottom of the frame (fig. 2). In order to screw the external unit to the wall, two mounting holes are
provided (fig.1). Connect the wire to terminals a and b (audio and bus), V1 and V2 (video) and P and M (additional power supply) (fig.2). Slide the antivandal
nameplate back into place. Put the bolt piece back in place and screw-fix it using the provided Allen key.
