3. OpERATION AND USE
A. General
- If the installation has been carried out correctly, the LED on the power supply module lights. The LEDs of the external units illuminate the anti-vandal
nameplate. Your visitor is displayed if you pick up the receiver. Communication is then also possible. The conversation is wound up by putting down the
receiver or automatically after 60s.
- If a call is rerouted to the unit, it rings once at the set tone (see ‘POSSIBLE SETTINGS’ of the unit in question). The image of the visitor is displayed on
the screen. If you pick up the receiver, you can communicate with your visitor (for max. 60s). The conversation is wound up by putting down the receiver
or automatically after 60s. If you do not pick up the receiver, the camera will remain active for 90s.
B. Video internal unit
The different function possibilities of the video internal unit per key:
Function key A:
- standard function: door open key
- can also function as door open and light switch key
Operation: if the receiver is put down, function key A switches the light relay of
the power supply module. If the receiver is picked up, function key A switches
the door key contact of the power supply module. Programming is carried out via
the service set (10-870) or via the power supply (10-806).
Function key 1:
Press for 1s. to switch off the ring tone of the internal unit. The red LED
at the left of function key 1 lights. Press again for 1s to reactivate the ring
tone. The red LED goes out.
Function key 2:
Activates the camera for 70s.
Function key 3:
Sends control function 8.
This control function can be taught to the flush mounting relay 10-837 and DIN rail relay 10-830.
Rotary key B:
- turning clockwise increases the brightness;
- turning counterclockwise decreases the brightness;
Rotary key C:
- turning clockwise increases the ring tone volume;
- turning counterclockwise decreases the ring tone volume.

C. power supply module
Connecting an external door opener
Connect the door opener to terminals 19 and 20 of the power supply module. A transformer is not required. The internal resistance of the door opener
should not drop below 6Ω.
