Commissioning and adjusting
Preparations
Ensure that the heating and brine circuits are filled and ven-
ted before commissioning.
Check the pipe system for leaks.
Filling and venting the brine system
To fill the brine system, mix about 30% antifreeze with water
in an open container and connect with the filling pump and
hoses as illustrated. Close the valve on the main pipe between
the service connections and fill through the service connec-
tion closest to the heat pump until the liquid returns in the
return hose. Then make the following settings on the control
panel.

Set the switch to 1 .
■
Go to menu ” Brine-pump, EP-drift ” in the service menu.
Set ” Brine-pump ” in mode 1 and press ” Operating
mode ”.
Set ” EP-drift ” in mode 1 and press ” Operating mode ”.

The heat pump cannot start because it is in operational mode
"EB" (electric boiler mode only). The brine pump and the
filling pump are now operating together. Let the liquid circu-
late via the mixing vessel until there are no more air bubbles
in the liquid in the return hose. Now stop the brine pump
by resetting "
Brine-pump " to the " 0 " position. Stop the
filling pump and clean the screen in the particle filter. Now
start the filling pump again. Open the valve on the main pipe
between the service branches while the filling pump is still
operating (to expel the air between the branches). Now close
the valve at the return hose. Then pressurise the system (to
max 3 bars) using the filling pump. Reset to normal mode
by setting "
EP-drift " to " 0 ".
