Remote controller settings and functions
Infrared transmitter frequency setting
The infrared frequency of the remote controller must be set to 38kHz to work properly with the indoor
unit. Is the frequency is not set, transmitting distance is reduced.
To set the correct frequency on the remote controller, follow this procedure:
Important: this procedure must be repeated every time batteries are changed.
IFeel
IFeel OFF
When IFeel is off, the unit controls the temperature of the room based on the value of the internal air
sensor.
If the unit is in heating mode, a heating shift is applied to the value read by the sensor. For example, it
the sensor reads 25°C, the actual temperature will be 22°C. The heating shift is indoor unit dependent.
IFeel ON, Remote Controller inside the range of the infrared receiver
In this case the unit controls the temperature of the room based on the value of the sensor of the
remote controller.
IFeel ON, Remote Controller outside the range of the infrared receiver
This condition occurs when IFeel is ON and the indoor unit doesn’t receive any signal from the remote
controller for more than 10 minutes, and lasts until a new signal is received from the remote. In this
case, the unit will control the temperature of the room based on the internal sensor and applying a
correction that depends on the difference between the last read temperature from the remote controller
and the internal sensor temperature at that moment, until a new signal is received from the remote
controller or IFeel is switched OFF.
