General
This accessory allows your heat pump to control the
production of heating and cooling independently of each
other.
In addition to this accessory (depending on system
solution), a reversing valve for cooling (EQ1-QN12), cir-
culation pump (EP45-GP10), cooling shunt (EQ1-QN18)
and distribution system for cooling (EP45) may be neces-
sary.
The cooling system is supplied with cooling from the
brine circuit using a circulation pump (EP45-GP10) via a
shunt valve (EQ1-QN18).
Passive cooling occurs without the compressor running,
while active cooling occurs when the compressor is
running.
For the installation to work, a free flow over the cooling
system is required, for example by using a volume ves-
sel for cooling (CP10).
Operating mode cooling is activated by the temperature
on the outdoor temperature sensor (EB100-BT1) and
any room sensor (EB100-BT50), room unit or separate
room sensor for cooling (EB100-BT74) (if two different
rooms are to be cooled or heated at the same time, for
example).
When cooling is required, the reversing valve for cooling
(EQ1-QN12) and the brine pump (EB100-GP2) are activ-
ated. The cooling shunt (EQ1-QN18) regulates according
to the cooling sensor and a cooling set point value,
which is determined by the selected cooling curve. De-
gree minutes are calculated based on the value on the
temperature sensor supply line cooling (EQ1-BT64) and
the cooling set point value. The degree minute value
determines which cooling mode the installation is in,
according to the menu settings.
