POWER TAKE-OFF
All models are equipped with n° 1 indepen-
dent PTO at 973 rpm - (profile 20 x17 DIN
5482. Use lever 7 (Fig. 2) to engage PTO of
MTC KAM4-KAM5.
N.B.:
Always use the clutch lever when wan-
ting to engage or disengage the PTO.
The PTO rotation is clockwise for all speed
directions.
DIFFERENTIAL LOCK

The differential locking is obtained by means
of lever 3 (Fig. 2), which is placed on the right
hand side of the handlebar.
N.B.:
The locking device can be engaged whi-
lst motor cultivator is running, on condition
that wheels do not skid. If so, disengage the
clutch, engage the lock and slowly release
the clutch.
ATTENTION - Never use the differential
lock on a bend.
HANDLEBARS (Fig. 8)
Adjustment in height (vertical sense) allows 6
positions, obtained with lever n° 6.
Side adjustment (horizontal sense) allows 6
positions (3 with handlebars in normal po-
3 with handlebars reversed through
180°), which are obtained with lever n° 11.
ROTATION
OF HANDLEBAR/COLUMN
FOR USE WITH FRONT IMPLEMENTS
(Fig. 9-10)
When assembling the front implements, the
handlebars have to be turned through 180°.
To rotate the handlebars proceed as fol-
lows:
1)
Place the gear control and PTO handle in
idle position.
2)
Remove handles 7 and 8 from support S.
3)
Pull lever 11 and rotate the column in anti-
clockwise direction (leftwards), as shown in
Fig. 9/B.
4)
Bring lever 11 back to its original position
to thus lock the column.
5)
Put handles 7 and 8 back on support S.
N.B.
- To bring the handlebars / column back
to normal position (tilling), repeat the same
operations whilst turning the handlebars/
column in clockwise sense (rightwards) as
shown in Fig. 9/A.
