Open the “WPS” menu. The following screen
(shown in Figure 4-2 ) will appear.
To add a new device:
If the wireless adapter supports Wi-Fi Protected
Setup (WPS), you can establish a wireless connec-
tion between the wireless adapter and the router
using either the Push Button Configuration (PBC)
method or the PIN method.
Note:
To build a successful connection via WPS, you
WPS Status
– Enables or disables the WPS
function.
Current PIN
- The current PIN of the Router is
displayed on this screen. The default PIN of the
Router can be found in the label or User Guide.
Restore PIN
- Restores the PIN of the Router
to its default value.
Gen New PIN
- Click this button to obtain a
new random value as the router’s PIN. You can
better protect your network by generating a
new PIN.
Add device
- You can add a new device to
the existing network manually by clicking this
button.
