Setting the Time and Date
IMPORTANT: The Time and Date may not be
available in your area and may not appear on your
display. Once this feature becomes available, your
i1000plus phone will automatically display the local
time and date.
You have a choice of a 12- or a 24-hour clock format,
as shown in the table below:
You have a choice of either a MM/DD (month/day) or a DD/MM (day/
month) date format as shown in the table below.
All of the modes (Phone, Private, Group, Net) display the time and
date on the third line of the display. To set the time and date format once
this feature is activated, follow the steps below:

under “OK”. The Time/Date Display screen appears.
The default (preset) time and date format is “On”. However, the
time and date does not display until the Nextel National
Network activates this feature. You may turn “off” this feature at
this point.

The hour format currently being used appears under Time For-
mat:. To keep the current setting, simply skip to the next step.

hour” format is the current setting, “24hr” will appear as an
