To change the password (or set it for the first time), enter the password in “Password:”
input box and confirm it in “Re-type password:” input box. Then press “Set password”
button. If the password and its confirmation coincide, the password will be set. If you
check the “Protect settings and service mode by password” checkbox, you will have to
enter the password to change the settings and/or update device firmware. The “Enter
password” dialog box is represented in Fig. 60.

If the manager offers to enter the password, the further operation will be possible only
after the correct password entering.
7.2.6. Firmware Updating
Using the manager, you can update the device firmware. To do this, switch on the de-
vice in the updating mode. Switch off the device if it is on. Press the most left button lo-
cated under the screen and holding it, press device on/off button. As soon as the screen
highlights, release the button under the screen. After that, the device will download in a
special mode intended for updating (Fig. 61).

As soon as the device is switched on in the updating mode, you can start to the firm-
ware updating directly. Preliminary it is required to establish the connection as de-
scribed in section 7.1 “Screening System Connection to Computer”.
