Adding a storage array to SANtricity Storage Manager
You must add the StorageGRID Webscale appliance to SANtricity Storage Manager using the IP
address of the E2700 controller. You can then use SANtricity Storage Manager to manage the
hardware components and the controller firmware.
Before you begin
•
If management port 1 on the E2700 controller controller is connected to a network with a DHCP
server, you have obtained the dynamically assigned IP address for the controller. (Your network
administrator can use the controller's MAC address to look up the IP address. The MAC address
is printed on a label on the back of the controller near the management port.)
Note:
If you do not have a DHCP server or you are unable to obtain this address, you can set
the IP address manually, as described.
•
You have a service laptop with SANtricity Storage Manager already installed.
