5.3.5 Status indication of milk frother
The LED next to the push/turn control at the right side of the coffee machine

is bicoloured (red / blue)
-
shows the status of the milk frother according to the following table:
To reset a fast red
blinking LED:
• Remove milk frother
from socket.
• Remove cause of failure
if possible.
Milk frother status etc.
LED
LED signal
Not ready:
• Coffee machine switched off.
• Or milk frother missing (not connected to socket).
Off
Ready:
• Milk frother connected to socket.
• One out of three possible warm milk preparations
selected with push/turn control (pos. 2, 3 or 4).
Red
Ready:
• Milk frother connected to socket.
• Cold milk froth preparation selected with push/turn
control (pos. 1).
Blue
Operating:
• Milk frother running.
• One out of three possible warm milk preparations
selected with push/turn control (pos. 2, 3 or 4).
Red,
blinking with 1 Hz
(0.5 s on, 0.5 s off)
Operating:
• Milk frother running.
• Cold milk froth preparation selected with push/turn
control (pos. 1).
Blue,
blinking with 1 Hz
(0.5 s on, 0.5 s off)
Failure / malfunction:
• No liquid in jug
• Overheating because of too less or no milk
• Burned milk on heating plate
Red,
fast blinking with 2 Hz
(0.25 s on, 0.25 s off)
Failure:
• Mains voltage fluctuations
• Milk frother has wrong mains voltage range
Red,
fast blinking with 2 Hz
(0.25 s on, 0.25 s off)
